Our clients, a Logistics Company based in Derbyshire, are looking for a Freight Forwarding Clerk to join their team.
Day to Day Duties:
Bookings
Quotations
Preparation of Documents including insurance, consular and some LC documents
Preparation of customs entries
Liaising with transport, warehouse, carriers and overseas agents
Overseeing smooth movement of shipments
Putting information onto systems
Invoicing
Negotiation of rates
The right candidates will have previous experience of air, road and sea freight and knowledge of all export documentation and customs procedures.
The company are offering a salary dependant on experience.
